In this episode we begin our special coverage of the 2010 Winter Olympics, we’ll be doing short shows frequently throughout the games.

We talk about the Opening Ceremony for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada.

First day of Events highlights

Groove talks about the NBC Olympics app for the iPhone and the iPod. Should you download it too?

Mary Carillo video from 2004. No one cares about her this year apparently because YouTube footage is scarce. It’s a damn shame.

Apolo Ohno’s Official YouTube Channel. Listen for our opinion on the “Michael Phelps” of the Winter Olympics.

We talk about how much we love the new recording of We Are The World for Haiti. Check it out and see if you agree!

This podcast is too short.

China should have spent the money on feeding people? Can I recommend you read this:

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/nov/17/number-of-hungry-americans-jumps/

Also, the US human rights record remains somewhat less than perfect – see several million articles about Guantanemo, the capital punishment figures and the Patriot Act etc. Not that I’m holding up the UK as a shining beacon. Patriotism is just silly.

So then chaps, can I request you stick to what you know; making justifiable fun of my neck and waffling about sports.
